At beginner lessons, we will show you the basics and more.
Learn how to balance on skates, go forward, and stop safely. Once you’ve got the hang of it then it’s time to turn and skate backwards. Before you know it you’ll be spinning around the rink.

Ready to learn more moves? At skills lessons, we will show you turns, spins, and dance moves.
Lessons are a combination of the coolest moves taken from artistic, jam, and freestyle skating.

Skate Dance Lesson

Join Asha Kirkby from Skate Fresh for a roller skating lesson of a lifetime.
Asha is an expert skater on both inlines and quads, and is coming to Rollerstop to share her moves at this very special quads dance class.
She’ll be looking at key concepts and skills such as being balanced in every dance move and will apply this learning to several dance steps (each with easy-harder ability options).
Those steps will be linked into a sequence you can then continue to polish (during the evening’s disco session and during the weeks to come).
This dance class is best suited to roller skaters who have some experience of dancing on wheels. Not suitable for complete beginner skaters or total beginner dancers.
£20 (includes 1hr class and entry to Rollerstop Disco 8-10pm where Asha will be attending).

The first Thursday of the month guest instructors Quantum Quads join us to teach dance classes at adult lessons.
The Quads will be sharing their moves and grooves, ready for you to take to the rollerdisco.
